Lake Oroville is one of the premier Spotted Bass Fisheries in California. Spotted Bass fishing on Lake Oroville is best during the winter months and fishes during the time when most rivers are blown out. There are many options for fishing for these fish, but this is home to Float’n Fly innovators like Ryan Williams and Chuck Ragan. That said there are options to fish stripped flies and topwater at any time. Great options for beginners or those looking to try something different.
